I've never had that happen to me, and I've played through the game twice.pierrot wrote:
Yeah, sorry. It starts out fun enough, until you get cornered in a small, walled off section, and gang raped by a million relentless little pod enemies; two more rising to take the place of each one that falls before them. Shooting continuously while strafing around. You're not dying, but you're not gaining any ground either. It's certainly purgatory if I've ever seen it.
Anyone else have love for Telenet?

Seriously? I played it in an emulator, but first level, bottom right area of the screen: You have to go down a long corridor near the right edge of the screen from the top, and there are some objective points in a small area near the bottom that just relentlessly spawn those little things that chase you.GSZX1337 wrote:I've never had that happen to me, and I've played through the game twice.pierrot wrote:

I'll try it again when I get home. I seriously don't recall that ever happening to me.pierrot wrote:Seriously? I could just suck. Maybe there are other weapons I didn't know about? Anyway, I did not enjoy my first experience with Granada.

Re: Anyone else have love for Telenet?
You're supposed to blow those up with your cannon, once you destroy all of them you fight the boss. That area in the bottom right is where the boss is so it's best to destroy all of the spawners in the rest of the level and then head over to the bottom right.pierrot wrote:and there are some objective points in a small area near the bottom that just relentlessly spawn those little things that chase you.

Damn, I thought this thread said *Telnet*. BBSes for the win!
But then I realized it's Wolfteam/Renovation and all that. They put 90% on their stuff on the Genesis, so I really couldn't say how good they were. I know they had a few shmups.
