The interior "bag" is a poly / cotton blend and is a bit "rougher" feeling. That bag fits into a slightly larger bag (the brown you can see). That comes off and is machine washable on cold water - can also be spot cleaned w/soap and water. Also, you can just buy the slip covers and replace as needed; directly from the cozy sac site.

From reviews, they seem to hold up well - many of the reviews were folks who owned them for 2-3 years. At $270 shipped / no tax from amazon, if I can get 2-3 years out of it - i'd be very pleased.

It looks a lot lower to me.
Yeah, no it is a bit lower. I don't think it would work with a desk setup like that to be candid. I'm curious what 7-o-7 sent for measurements. The seat was 13 inches from the ground by my ruler (when open).

Good to hear. Keep us updated on your opinion of it as the months go on. We might get one for our living room, to go with our elegant plush red furniture...

I purchased two of these chairs from Ikea-- at least, they are the same style as this. Mine have more padding and foot stools that I purchased separately. We love them-- very comfy, even for the "long haul." My sister and I played through Sonic 2 on Genesis New Years eve, took a solid 3-4 hours. Sat in those chairs with our feet up the whole time. Sweet!

Who makes that chair? Target doesn't have it on their website.
