North East/NYC RB Meetup: Any Interest?

I don't know if the Galaga cab was sold (they do this sometimes with older games), busted, or just put into storage but yeah it was missing in action.

I haven't been in the arcades there for a while and I was happy to see the Star Wars Arcade machine up and running again without the nasty screen burn it used to have.

We also played some Armored Warriors and its fighter cousin Cyberbots on the MAME cab. Never had the chance to play them on an arcade machine so it was great.

So, who's up for a meetup? noiseredux wants to meet up for Pax East, but I'm game for another hosting before then.

I'd be down for both! I had fun at Yestercades in NJ last month. Might be a suitable meeting spot?

Yep, $35 per day. Saturday is all sold out, though.

Yearly bump. Apart from Barcade, here are some possibilities:

Next Level Arcade
Two Bits Retro Arcade
China Town Fair
* Nothing special. fvgazi and I visited this place last year. They did have an MVS and I a Capcom cab, but not much else.

My place is tiny, but I could potentially accommodate around 8 people mildly comfortably. Unfortunately, I own no couch, but I do have 4 chairs and two TVs. Oh, and I'm in Manhattan now, so no long treks out to Brooklyn. There's usually parking nearby, too.

This would have to be after Feb 1st, but after that, I'm not particular on when.
