I made a pot of chili for dinner and had that over some rice. It was really good.

This was on my plate a little while ago. It's not anymore. Image

Last night was hectic, so soup and sandwiches it was.

It's not exactly the right time of year for it, but I'm making ratatouille tonight with fresh spaghetti.

In about twenty minutes I'll be leaving to pick up dinner. Yup, when the clock strikes 9am, I'll need to get my but in line at B's BBQ as they run out of food fast, especially on the weekends.

I'll post pictures* of the place as I have mentioned it before. It's a run down shack with a smoke house located on the side of a highway. There two places to order, both quickly for a line of derelicts, businessmen, nurses, rednecks, doctors, thugs, teachers...anyone who eats pork, or chicken is there. They usually sell out of ribs by 9:30am, and you are lucky to get chicken if it is past 11am. And get this, the place usually has a sanitation grade of B. That's mostly due to the fact that the food is cooked outside, but no one gives a care. Their BBQ is just that good.

Reminds me of Dixie's BBQ here in the Bellevue area. Pretty good BBQ for the middle of the NW. It doesn't compare to somewhere in middle America or the South, but it'll do in a pinch.

I had a Wyomingite's idea of BBQ once. It seriously sucked.

Lucky duck. It must be nice to live in BBQ utopia. We make a point of stopping for cue (east, obviously) when we head south to visit family. Luke, you really need to hit Grady's in Dudley. You will not be disappointed.

Next time Im in the area Ill make a point to go there Luke. In my wifes home town theres a place called Nolens that has been there forever. There are four of them and during lunch time there is a line outside most days. They do super baked potatoes covered in all the good stuff for a potato and bbq of your choice - I go beef actually. But their sauce is divine and their sweet tea is a custom blend and is sickeningly good.

This is their main location , which looks the same today as it did back then. The building behind it to the right is where they do the cooking for all the locations. Its about the size of a small office building.
