Actually, it was once described as being Blade Runner meets Brazil.

But really, it's more than just gr8 costumes and gore. It's also a gr8 comment on society's addiction to surgery, longer lives through medicine, and right to life, or whatever. All I know is:

I CAN'T FEEL NOTHING AT AAAALLLLLLLL!!!!

Hey Repo, I got a question for you. What are you gonna do after the movie's come out and the inevitable DVD release follows after? Are you gonna attach yourself do a different upcoming property, or will you just sit and talk about the "glory days" before REPO! came out? I'm wondering because, what with Dark Knight having been released, I'm just not psyched about anything right now. Sure, Watchmen is coming...but that's a long way away still, and I've only got a few scraps at this point. What do you plan on doing?

So, basically, you're saying that my whole life right now is just "REPO!". You clearly don't know me that well.

And no, I won't "attach [myself] to a different upcoming property".

I only started this topic because this movie looks interesting, but yet is being screwed over with a limited theatrical release and then a quick DVD release, whereas countless remakes, sequels, prequels, adaptations, and knock-offs are being shoved down the pipeline. But REPO is actually the most original thing I've seen in a while.

You know, I hate to start a fight, or continue one, but didnt you introduce yourself on the forums as the character from the movie?

But to get back on topic, welcome to the world of indie films. I am not really saying that Repo is an indie, but the way it is getting marketed sure looks similar. Granted Boondock Saints had the same problem - I did see it in theaters back in 99, and look what happened to it. Millions of DVD sales, the creators got nothing from, yet they are still making a sequel with most of the original cast. So to get back to some sort of point go movie!

Actually Repo, I personally think you're a bot. Don't be insulted, I think you're a very advanced bot, but...a bot nonetheless. I've been wondering this entire time who built you.

I just hope, somewhere in that bizarre and twisted code of your AI, you get a kick out of that.

Sirs, you need to "call off your dogs" as they say. You are coming at blind_marko here with quite venomous comments. However he does not seem all that different from many of the newcomers here with is variety of wild ideas and his burning passion that he presents them with. Not unlike Ryan and his Saturn 2 topic, or yourself fastbilly with your, as Racketboy puts it, "little creations." Perhaps Repoman has been alittle forward with this fixation of his, after all like fastbilly said you did introduce yourself as the character, but havent we all loved something to the same degree?

Wait, what? This whole thing started when I asked him a question about what he'd do after the movie comes out. I mean, think about it. His avatar, signature, forum screen name, "New Member" post, and multiple other posts have been solely about said film. I'd definitely say he's got some "burning passion" for it. I was just asking him a question about what he'd be doing once the film was released. Mainly because I think he's the most advanced advertisement I've ever seen! I figured he'd find my thinking that rather funny, actually.

Look, if it's a real guy, that's cool. If it's a bot that has somehow found a love for retro gaming, that's cool too. I'm not flaming the guy, I was just interested. Right now the CBM world's in a bit of a funk because the Dark Knight got its release and then...nothing. The next film to look forward to may not even be coming out as Watchmen has found itself trapped in a lawsuit whose trial begins next January. It's pretty depressing for most of us who spent the first six months of this year hyped for a movie once it's out. And I'd definitely say this guy seems hyped for a movie.

Ok, so sometimes I don't agree with his opinions and I don't care for some of his ideas, but I'm not trying to pick a fight. And as for how well I know him...well, if I think he's a machine, what does that say? For all I know, all of you guys are machines and I'm the only real person here. How well could any of us say we know each other, especially if we haven't met in real life before? I know Racket's real, Fastbilly is real, and a couple of other folks are real, but the rest of you?

Deep down I think Mozgus is the terminator.

One often wonders....
but the Terminator doesn't use as much sarcasm.

Maybe T-2000?

So, we know of my REPO! boards alter ego.

And I haven't been forward IMO. I'm just ecstatic about this film.
