Same Spot, 10 Years Apart.

Post by hashiriya1 »

I was going through some old pictures over the summer.
I found a picture of a Pana-Q I took 10 years earlier, so when
I arrived in Japan in September of this year I thought I'd take a
picture of the same case. Much to my surprise, it's still reserved for
Nintendo systems.

I took these pictures at a Toys R Us in Tokyo.
Same case, same spot, 10 years and 2 months apart.

July 2002, and September 2012.

That's pretty awesome - and that Panasonic Q is still gorgeous, doesn't look dated at all.

Japan gets two remotes in each box? Nice.

I always thought it was kind of gaudy myself  . Like a 90's stereo.

I thought I was the only one who never thought the Q looked all that hot.

Vanilla Gamecube is so slick and clean, the Q feels way too busy with all those buttons and added bulk all around.

I think the shiny would get distracting when I was trying to focus on my game.

I agree, the GCN has such a slick design. I've come to appreciate more now that I'm older.

It's crazy to think that the system is already over 10 years old.

What I wouldn't do to get a Panasonic Q... A region modded one is definitely my dream console.
