The first bit of Cowboy Bebop I ever saw was the last 5 minutes of the last episode. The series is still awesome even with the ending spoiled for you.

Many of you have heard me ragging on about this show (it's my favorite television series and anime ever)- Mushi-shi. im watching it for the 7th time now. it's something i want to spread around as much as possible. seriously for those who want something that isn't your old and tired plot or shonen and is ok with getting philosophical, this series is absolutely beautiful and unique. although i have to say it doesn't really set in as to how great it is untill after the 3rd episode. here's something that follows the mood of the series:
"ninja's wear clothing of every color so they can blend with the alphabet."-best friend concerning bushido blade 2.
my trade and sell list is right here: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 22&t=20601

N64, saturn model 2, ds, Dreamcast, ps1, ps2, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, xbox, 3DO, psp slim (v.3001.)
feel free to PM/IM me if you feel like talking to me.

How's the Anime Mini DVD? Can you give us a brief review about this thing?

Just watch couple of episode of Macross from the DVD I got. It feel weird to hear another version of the English dub when I know it from the Robotech dub. Still good show to watch. Also, manage to watch some episode of Nadia Secret of Blue Water. Very good show in either Eng or Jap dub. Would recommend everyone to watch it if you have the chance.

I watched Wicked City the other day. It was.... different. Plot was a little bland, but the scenes were composed very well. Overall though, I wasn't very impressed.

Think that's one from director Kawajiri... the man has awesome style (with a good budget), but yeah some of his movies are just those old OVA action/gore flicks.

I'd say check out Cyber City Oedo and Goku Midnight Eye for some good ones he did, I really enjoyed those. He also directed Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust.

I love Wicked City! It's not the best anime film out there but it's worth it for the shock value and great looking animation. At least it's not as bad as Urotsukidoji or Kite in terms of content.

I'm watching Haruhi for the third or fourth time now, I've lost track.

This show is pretty brilliant.

I did the first time around. At first I thought it was stupid and annoying, and now I realize it's annoying but not stupid. It was my least favorite part of the show, but I don't resent it anymore.
For everyone who stuck through it, we watched the same 22-minute episode for 3.3 hours. Yuki relived the same two weeks for roughly six hundred years and I got a tiny little taste of it. A lot of shows can make you laugh and cry but only one show can make me feel like that.

It's also a look into Haruhi's frustration with life These episodes are so boring - you've got to realize the things the SOS brigade is doing are way more fun than what we usually do for two weeks.

The other thing is, it's really important for the plot and the moral character of the series. Have you watched The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya yet? If you keep Endless Eight in mind while you watch that movie, I think you'll understand why they did it.
These eight episodes give you a little taste of the despair that drives Yuki to do what she does. She gives Kyon the choice between living with a human Yuki and a leading normal life, or a life of adventure with Haruhi.

That life of adventure includes taking away Nagato's humanity, taking away Mikuru's free will in the name of the timeline, and making Koizumi a bondservant to Haruhi for the foreseeable future. The universe is still in danger. When you think about the implications of his actions, the story gets a lot darker. Haruhi does things like this, but that's nothing compared to Kyon's selfish act.
All in all, Endless Eight was worth my time.
Plus I have to give it props for getting good-sized male lead who doesn't look like a girl at all.
