Xenoblade Chronicles out of print?
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles out of print?
yeah open this game, maybe in 5 years it will be worth $250. Not exactly the same scenario, but if you had a sealed copy of panzer dragoon saga, you would be an idiot for opening it. That is an awesome game too, but not $700 cool. (sealed copy)

You can always pirate it and leave your copy sealed if you're paranoid;.

I would be far more hesitant to pay $100+ (if the game reaches that kind of value and keeps it) on a used disk than a sealed game.

You could sell it and buy an opened copy, then have a ton of money left over.env963 wrote:yeah open this game, maybe in 5 years it will be worth $250. If it bothers you so much, you could try to track down a used copy at Gamestop, or ask them if they can have one sent to your closest store. You'd still be out the $45+ dollars, but that way you'd get to play the game and keep your copy sealed. And of course, if you don't like it you can probably sell off the used copy for more than you paid for it.

Even on a simple savings bond you can take $50 and turn it into $200 in 20 years. There are better ways to invest money.
I once had a copy of this game sealed but could not find the time or desire of a long RPG to play it, so out the door it went. I never regretted it. I bought Chaos Field for the Naomi instead (same price) and am glad I did.

This simply must be a holiday fluke. The game is easily had at stores, and people selling on forums were unable to even get retail price for the sealed game plus art book as recent as two months ago.

I saw it at more than one Gamestop in the week before Christmas. I don't think it's quite hit Panzer Dragoon Saga status yet.
