You might run into a problem with that processor, I'm not entirely sure since like I said I'm not familiar with Homura. My rig can emulate anything I throw at it pretty much, yet Persona 4 actually did make it lag a bit. But for RAM you're definitely good, and that video memory should have you covered as well.

Ah okay, thanks! I'm hoping between ps2 emulation and this Taito loader, I should be able to participate in Homura month.

Not having much luck playing DOJ via PCSX2. So I guess I still need my PS2 for now. If I can just play DOJ and Homura I'll be fine. Obtaining the software for Homura now. Was DOJ one of the ones pulled from MAME?

Nope! DOJ, Ketsui, and Espgaluda were PGM games, so they remained. All the SH3 stuff (Mushi and up) were pulled (although, if you want to play them.... )

Alright. Then I don't even need a PS2 anymore. Because I'll just play whatever hits PSN as a PS2 classic. They already have some ones I want to try like Odin Sphere.

But anyway. Back on topic. SHMUPS! I have a feeling I will participate a bit more this year. :D

2012 was a bit busy for me and 2013 is looking to be busy as well... but I see myself participating in these months:

January - Castle of Shikigami II
February - Dragon Spirit
April - Crimzon Clover
September - Shienryuu
October - Homura

Every pick looks very interesting, but these seem appealing enough to me to nearly ensure my participation. Shikigami II and Crimzon Clover I will be around without a doubt though.

for PS2 stuff, If anyone needs a freemcboot install, or a zip file with hdloader and such, let me know. I'm happy to provide. I have a few PS2 hdd/broadband adaptors sitting around too if anyone wants to slap an IDE hdd in their old PS2.

I'm interested in playing some espgaluda on MAME, I have always used the PS2. I'm almost done with my new PC, but the onboard video card is a nightmare with linux, which is my every day OS. There are windows drivers for it, so worst case I can install win7 or something. I inherited a dual quad core 2ghz box (8 core system) from my work, and popped 4GB ram in there. The caveat is being a server motherboard, it wasn't really designed to do much graphics wise. It has pci-e, but only x8, so new x16 cards won't fit. Once I get video working right, it's on.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

I'm most interested in these guys:

January - Castle of Shikigami II
March - Air Gallet
April - Crimzon Clover
May - Varth
June - Cotton Boomerang
September - Shienryuu
November - Raiden IV

So, more than half the year I should be in on, at the very least. Looks like a happy Shmup year. Not sure how long I'll be able to take getting worked over by Air Gallet, though.

So rancor has 8 copies now, all are new / sealed. $30 each and shipping is $8 for one, or $8 for all, so def. makes sense for one bulk order. It'd be $31 now, and $2.25 once here to ship from me to you, so $33.25 apiece, which saves us each $4.75.

So far I only have (3) confirmed buyers and myself. Please pm me tonight if you can commit to a copy at $33.25 shipped. Everyone involved should shoot me a gift payment of $31 now ([email protected]) and then a goods payment of $2.25 once I pm you that they are here in mid/late January (he can't ship until 1/4/13).
