Here's a washy picture of the wallscroll, but more importantly, it's next to my ultimate Mario poster which is probably about as old as I am. Mega damage on the corners over the years so I definitely keep it framed now.

Looks good to me. Nothing wrong with a little brown either.

Xeogred wrote:Cool stuff dude. I take it you maybe got some of the furniture from Walmart? (last I remember you work there, maybe you get some discounts)? I like the TV stand. Does your Samsung do S-video? I'm kind of considering maybe looking around for another 32" (LED too maybe) that can do S-video, I do love my 32" Samsung though... but yeah, just lacks that option.

EvilRyu2099 wrote:Nice collection and room.. The TV looks very nice.. 120hz I'm assuming? May not be much different than 60Hz for gaming purposes but watching regular Television like a sporting event is where you can see the benefit.. And no need to rip your furniture.. Even your desk chair is much better than mine,,,

Unfortunately, no s-video on that Samsung. It is 120hz, which I mainly like because it'll play back blu rays at 24hz. I've tried playing around with the 120hz options for kicks, but it doesn't really seem to do much on this tv. Guess the effect is just subtle.

hold up, you don't have a Sega CD man??? Get on that ASAP! Hell, we're playing Wing Commander for TR in a few months. That'll give you an excuse to pick up the <$10 SCD port.

Yeah, I briefly had a Sega CD a while back but got rid of it for some reason. Still kicking myself over that one, not even sure why I got rid of it as I generally enjoyed owning it. I'd definitely love to pick one up again.

Yeah, that'd most likely be what I got. Probably cheaper than getting a TurboGrafx-CD anyway. The normal PC engine is just so sleek and tiny though....

Woo, finally got my toploader in!

I quickly AV modded it using this handy post I found on Bacteria's website. The video output is FANTASTIC. None of the jailbars this system is sometimes notorious for. Looks every bit as good as the stock toaster NES, if not a tad better even. Colors seem a tad more vibrant to me too.

I opted for a headphone jack for the output connector. Nice, discreet, and clean.
