Yeah, its a nice collection.

make it yours.

you at least have lots of space to show it off.

I currently dont have any space. Hopefully soon I'll have a new place and my own glorious collection from the bottom of the floor to the top of the ceiling.

you can find my old pics from last year, just search my name.

Pretty nice setup, that's a great way to store NP magazines - I should try that myself.

I'm envious of all the free space you have - time for some more consoles!

I'm definitely glad to have the space in here! My last place was a one bedroom apartment, and I just kept all the game stuff in the living room along with everything else. It's nice to be able to have a dedicated room for my stuff now.

I got the NP magazine storage idea from a NintendoAge thread. Only issue to keep in mind is that the plastic used in those sheet protectors isn't good for long term storage. Not too much a big deal, just have to make a mental note to replace those sheets every 4-5 years or so.

More consoles is definitely a big future goal! It's the main reason I opted for such a large shelf for the systems, there's a huge list of consoles I'd like to have.

Master System rules!

Although I'm curious, if you have a Genny is there any real reason to go with a SMS console instead of the Powerbase Converter?

Some people dig it, but nah, you're right. I actually have that setup, too, model 1 and PBC. Still, the 7800 plays 2600 games, and yet you still see 2600s everywhere (including here!). The collector in us, I guess.

Something to do with how the plastic breaks down over time I think. I'd have to do some googling, but it's just something that was mentioned in the same NA thread where I saw the binder idea.

I already have a Power Base Converter, so I don't really need an SMS on top of that. Next thing I get will probably be an original Xbox, as I have a few games for it already and I've been meaning to pick one up for a while now. I'm also really interested in getting a few more 2nd gen consoles. Colecovision, Intellivision, Odyssey2, etc.

I don't know if they'd count as separate consoles, but the Sega CD and 32x are something I'm wanting to nab down the line, moreso the CD. Then there's those second tier systems like the Jaguar, 3DO, CD-i, etc. Wouldn't mind getting some of the japanese versions of systems I already own, for the import exclusives that aren't always easy to get working on the US consoles. Famicom is a big one there, and a PC-Engine would definitely be on that list too.

Nice collection and room.. The TV looks very nice.. 120hz I'm assuming? May not be much different than 60Hz for gaming purposes but watching regular Television like a sporting event is where you can see the benefit.. And no need to rip your furniture.. Even your desk chair is much better than mine,,,

hold up, you don't have a Sega CD man??? Get on that ASAP! Hell, we're playing Wing Commander for TR in a few months. That'll give you an excuse to pick up the <$10 SCD port.

Cool stuff dude. I take it you maybe got some of the furniture from Walmart? (last I remember you work there, maybe you get some discounts)? I like the TV stand. Does your Samsung do S-video? I'm kind of considering maybe looking around for another 32" (LED too maybe) that can do S-video, I do love my 32" Samsung though... but yeah, just lacks that option.

Love the Super Metroid poster myself. I've been meaning to track down the "taller" posters of that one and Secret of Mana someday.

Think it's this one:

I actually have a big wallscroll of this, but the text is different and it just doesn't feel as authentic, and I guess I prefer posters to scrolls. lol
