I just forgot to update the eBay store. I've never sold a single copy through there, so it slipped my mind in the 6 months or so since I placed it. I sold a copy last night to someone, so now there are only 3, and stock has been updated.
I'll get down to Akihabara today and see if there are any more to be found.

I hope you can get a hold of some more copies for your store. If not, do you have any ideas where else people might be able to procure one online, if anywhere?

I'll be in Japan for two months (Feb and March). I'll try to look for copies while I'm there.
I won't be in Tokyo, so rancor will have the pick of the litter in Akiba.

None, though the tokyoshmups site was going to allow me to put (10) in my cart and I was the "send payment now" button away from having a confirmed order.

I think it's just his site and ebay store aren't up to date on actual inventory. The pm was literally from yesterday, so i'd take that word from mouth over online inventory. I'll send another pm for clarification. There are a few guys on shmups forums that may be able to source copies as well (different parts of Japan, not just tokyo), i'll see if I can shake a few bushes. That said, i've only got (4) confirmed buyers, including myself. So i'd like to have confirmation we actually have 10 or so buyers before asking multiple people to start looking for copies.

Ok - Just got back and I picked up 5 more copies. So I have a total of 8 right now. I think I cleaned out Akihabara, so I'll probably check Nakano this weekend if you guys need more than 8.

Other than Yahoo auctions I'm not sure where else you would get these. I'm not sure of any other exporters. I'm pretty sure I cleaned out stock in Akiba today.

I would guess the arcade version.. Unless it gets a console release. This is all pure speculation - I'm not saying there's going to be a re-release, just that it's gone out of print now and it would make sense to make a new release later down the line with new versions / added features.
