Not gonna happen except in indie games with stylized assets or the occasional procedurally created game.BoringSupreez wrote:Game developers need to find a way to shrink games down to a smaller size or something like that, and soon. It's getting to be a big pain to even install games off DVDs, because there's so much data being copied it takes 20 minutes! And I can't imagine what it must be like to download 14 gigs over a DSL connection.

Today's video game developers need to take inspiration from the Darius series, and put more giant mechanical space-fish in newer titles. We don't see enough of them. The gaming world needs more. They need to shoot lasers, have flamethrowers, and be colored fabulously.

I'm with you on this. I've had a shmup in my head for years. I have no idea how to make a game. I copy my GoG games to CD-Rs. Can't do that with most games though, due to DRM.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Anyone else make physical copies (DVD-Rs and whatnot) of their downloaded games?
I bought Tekken for the WiiU. I haven't played a Tekken game in a long, long time.
