I guess you have to give a show some time to really sink in before you can honestly rank it among other things you've enjoyed in the past.

I don't think I'd consider Venture Bros. or Futurama all that "new" though.

The list is "action" cartoons, guys. Those I would consider to be comedy cartoons.

I'm gonna modify my original list. You can't have a list of the best action cartoons ever without Samurai Jack, so I'm putting it in the number 25 spot

The best of the best

1. Cowboy Bebop
2. Justice League Unlimited
3. Gargoyles

Everything else:

4. Transformers (after Transformers the movie, when they brought in all the new Transformers. I loved Rodimus Prime and Galvatron)
5. Rurouni Kenshin - Including the ill named Samurai X prequel
6. Slayers
7. Swat Kats
8. Thundercats
9. Silverhawks
10. GI Joe - 80s version
11. Zelda - From the Mario show with Captain Lou Albano
12. X-Men - The fox cartoon from years ago, classic opening theme
13. Dragonball Z - We can make fun of it now, but I loved it years ago
14. Superman: The Animated Series
15. Batman Beyond
16. Ronin Warriors - The power's in the armor! Ronin Warriors!
17. Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
18. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
19. Spider-Man (90s)
20. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 80s version of course
21. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - It might as well have been a cartoon so I included it. I have fond memories of the original team with the green/white ranger
22. Batman: The Animated series
23. Voltron - The classic one with the big cats
24. C.O.P.S - "Fighting crime in a future time, protecting Empire City from Big Boss and his gang of crooks"
25. Samurai Jack

Samurai Jacktion!!

I feel as though that show had a deep impact on me. I think of nothing but happiness when I see it/think about it, and I love all the influences the show picks up. I think it is due to me and Genndy growing up with similar influences or something. I can see the Samurai influence, the westen influence, the sci fi, the comic influence... ahh, memories.

Also, I love the 300 episode.

Futurama might not be action enough, but Venture Bros. is chock full of action.

I love Venture Bros. But I would never take it as a serious action cartoon. However, being an action cartoon fan makes the jokes in Venture Bros. much funnier.

Hm, yeah, "serious" is the part that eludes this show. It's parody of all the great action shows, so yeah, I see your point.

So Dexter's Rude Removal apparently is real after all and has been uploaded by Adult Swim.

For those who don't know, it's a "lost" Dexter's Lab episode that was apparently only shown once at a convention. For the longest time a lot of people thought it was just an urban legend.

Has a lot of bleeped swearing.

I always figured it was fake, or lost forever. It's nice to see a new episode of Dexter after so long.

Wow, I can't believe that's real. It's almost surreal to be seeing a new episode of Dexter in 2013.
