I'm about 30 hours into Persona 4 and I love it. I wonder how far I have to go? Seems like I still have a ways.

If it's like Persona 3 it'll be 80-100+ hours. Way too long.. But at the same time it is so well done. Definitely liking P4G more than P3 FES so far. Even if just a little more.

I actually knocked out Golden in 60 hours, but I'd already beaten it once on the PS2 and that was closer to 100 hours. And I wasn't skipping dialog, just reading it fast.

I think I am not even close to that pace so far. 1 month done in game time. My play time is 10 hours. I assume it takes place over a year? Or is it shorter?

I don't think its a full year, more like a school year.

I've only played the ps2 version, and I clocked in about 90 hours at the finish. Easily the longest game I've played that didn't involve a ton of sidequests. Even at the 90 hour mark, story was still happening.

I'm still on FFXIII, as I've been spending my nights grinding away at Dodonpachi, but I'm getting there. I'm in some tower on my way to Oerba. The game is really getting mean.

Also, this game makes me feel like there is a ton of content as far as upgrading weapons is concerned, but it isn't giving me enough materials to work on more than one weapon at a time, and only for three characters. I have very little gil, and it costs so much to get a weapon some good levels. Probably my only complaint at this point, but it does get a bit irritating, especially when I have no idea if I am using all my materials on a total shit weapon or not.

For example, I am leveling a weapon with "Stagger Lock" on it, which seems to be a terrible ability. I thought maybe it was FFX style, and that after leveling it up to the next stage it might lose that and gain new abilites. But, when I finally got it to the next stage, it still has Stagger Lock! :(

TERA - Starting up. The game's a blast and it looks amazing. The only thing that could use some work is the questing since even though the combat is awesome, the quests are fairly repetitive.

FFXIII - Still grinding at chapter 10. This is getting boring and absurdly difficult very quickly.

What part in chapter 10 are you on exactly? I'm sorta having trouble pushing to the end as well. The game gets difficult, but also doesn't keep you on your toes story-wise nearly as much as it did throughout the rest of the game.

After the
Cid Raines
boss fight. The enemies are a lot tougher now and the loot is becoming harder and harder to get.

You should play that Breath of Fire III you have, and then get to IV (or so I'm told, since I've yet to get to IV).

I'm still working on the first game, but I am not even sure I will continue the series after this. I noticed that the second game is often unintelligible due to the translation. I'll keep the games around and give them a try, though.

The SNES and PS games are night and day. Really. I like the SNES games alright, but the BoFIII is top notch.
