i'm forcing myself to beat double dragon on VC...
what pisses me off is that I always lose my lives on the stupid parts (falling spikes in mission 3, the wall blocks in mission 4, abobo combos that take off 1/4 of your life)

Yah... FF8. It was so damn tedious. I only did it because I didn't want to feel like the time put in was for nothing. Though it kinda was as the end result was still dissapointment. Meh~

I think that anyone who has beaten this game has probably forced their way through it.D.D.D. wrote:Yah... FF8. It was so damn tedious. I only did it because I didn't want to feel like the time put in was for nothing. Though it kinda was as the end result was still dissapointment. Meh~
As absurd as this may sound, I had to force myself to play Beyond Good and Evil through the second (or third?) "dungeon". I missed something obvious on the way and basically had to run around in circles for about an hour and a half to find whatever fuse I was missing. Don't know how it happened, but I think it was caused by my piss-poor sense of direction and continuously passing up the room with the assumption that I'd been there already.
It sucked, but after that I was able to enjoy the game again.

I probably will never stick it back in the 360. I think about it from time to time, but end up playing something else. I would like to get 1000/1000 right now im at 900/1000, I just missed fighting to many monsters to go back and find them all, I do however have all the items up to the point im at.NeoRage wrote:WoW! Re: Have you ever "forced yourself" to beat a game.
I often find I'm forcing myself to play current gen games just before I trade them in - Resistance FOM and the new Wii Zelda are two notable current gen culprits. Either I'm getting picky or these new games just suck...

I forced my way through FF8. I've never been able to get myself through FF9 though...
Oh yeah, Ryan, you want a modders site for Elder Scrolls games? Try http://www.tesnexus.com, they've got a ton of stuff for Oblivion and Morrowind. You'll have to register, but it's free so it's not too much of a hassle.
