Got a Wii U this year from my wife...I will be honest at first I didnt really want it, but it is very cool. I love the additional features like cam, TV remote from the touch pad, etc. If not for video games it is like an advanced Roku as well. Not a big fan of the controller, but it could be worse. It is at least better than the old stick controllers for Wii...but I am glad everything from my Wii can be reused so I dont have to go out and buy a bunch of controllers. Now what games should I get? I have Mario, Batman and Sonic Racing, but these titles were picked out by my wife, so I havent taken a good look at the games yet....

ZombiU unless you just don't like survival horror. Nano Assault Neo is a good one to grab from the eShop.

I didn't get any gaming related presents. I did buy myself The History of Nintendo Vol. 1 to go along with my copy of Vol. 2 though. I really dig these books and can't wait for Vol. 3 to get released in English.

Cave Story 3D (3DS)
Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS)
Professor Layton & The Miracle Mask (3DS)
Steel Diver (3DS)
Super Mario Sticker Star (3DS)
Professor Layton & The Last Specter (DS)
The Last Story (Wii)

Overall, I am very pleased with my holiday haul!
A lot of those 3DS games interest me. Definitely want to know what you think of Cave Story 3D, Professor Layton & The Miracle Mask, and Super Mario Sticker Star. :)
I have Okamiden in my 3DS right now, and I am about 25 hours into it. Once I finish that up, I expect that I will jump into Professor Layton & The Last Specter before heading to Professor Layton & The Miracle Mask. I have loved every Professor Layton game to date - and, particularly, The Unwound Future - so, I suspect I will love both of those games as well.

I am also playing through Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door right now on my Wii; so, it may be a while before I start up Sticker Star. I am chomping at the bit to get started on Cave Story 3D, however, and I will let you know how it is.

I also picked up Wings of Wor for Genesis, Test Drive 6 for Dreamcast, and Final Fantasy III for DS for myself.

And I got $150 cash which I haven't fully decided what I'm gonna spend it on. Right now I'm thinking about getting a 3DO and a few games, along with Bionic Commando for original Game Boy. Or maybe an Atari Lynx instead of the 3DO...hmmm, choices.

I also got this bad boy from my wife:

I used my Christmas cash already. I'm pretty happy with my purchases. Used it all exclusively on gaming, except for one comic issue I really wanted:

-1600 Point Microsoft Card (For the Dragonborn Skyrim expansion)
-Armored Core (PS1)
-Bionic Commando (Game Boy Original)
-Legend of Legaia (PS1)
-Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Nintendo DS)
-Parasite Eve (PS1)

I also got these 2 books I've been really wanting:

I was gonna get Wind Waker for Gamecube, but dang! I didn't realize how much that game has climbed in value. I never should have traded it.

If anyone was curious, this was the one comic issue I really wanted:

It's like the only original Crisis on Infinite Earths issue I needed (well, it's more like a sequel or maybe a flashback issue). I loved the original Crisis!

The only new game I got was a gift from my fiance`. She bought me Hitman: Absolution and I LOVE it! I must have bought over in the realm of 100 pre-owned games between Nov-Dec spanning from Intellivision to the current generation. I have a problem...
"Oh great, another box of useless sh*t."

Main Collection: http://connect.collectorz.com/users/ynj ... collection - Not looking to move anything on this list but would entertain offers.

Oooo! That looks WAY more thorough than the 501 Must Play Games book I saw a while ago. I bet it's a fun read and a great coffee table book!

The only gaming thing I got was the only gaming thing I really wanted:

Journey: Collector's Edition

Gonna go fire it up right now! :D

PS2 Haunting Grounds - I requested this one since I've not been able to locate one in the wild for over a year.
Wii Michael Jackson Experience dancing game. Not requested. It lacks all the polish and fun that the Just Dance games have. Crazy since they were both published by Ubisoft. I expected more.
I'm going shopping this week and getting some games for myself since overall it was a bust this year.
Systems: Pong, Odyssey2, Atari 2600, NES, CDX, SNES, N64, Saturn, DC, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, GCN, Wii, Xbox360, OUYA
Handhelds: GB, GBC, GBA, DS lite, DSi, Virtual Boy (<< is that even a portable?)
EM Pinballs: Bally Dixieland, Gottlieb Flying Carpet
SS Pinball: GTB Circus, GTB Count-Down, GTB Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Stern Lectronamo, Stern Galaxy, Bally Black Pyramid

People should be happy that any one thought of them, I never expect or ask for anything. No gets for me this year, but I also did not want any thing.

The moral is to be happy for what you have and receive and give a little.
