Aspirational Gaming Goals for 2013
All right, it's not Chistmas yet, but for some of us, gaming is something that didn't happen as much this year as much as we'd have liked to.
what goals do you want to embark on for 2013?
-Expand GB/GBC library
- Acquire Survival Kids
- Acquire Dragon Warrior III
- Acquire Magical Chase (GB)
- Acquire 1 rare GBC system variant
- Emphasis on the 'Ozzie'/Australia variant
- Acquire Harvest Moon (SNES)

I'm finishing my super gun in 2013. Actually, I'd like to have it minus the controllers finished by February.

Get my gaming device collection completed; I need Neo Geo, PS3, 3DS, Atari ST and Amstrad GX4000, maybe a Gameboy Color. After that it's just Vita/Wii U (so new that I dont really have a need to buy them in a long time) and some really obscure consoles I shouldn't bother with. When I'm done I can hopefully just relax and watch my collection grow and diversify
Repair my DUO R
Get Intellivision, 7800 and maybe Odyssey 2 AV modded
Get a Hori N64 mini gamepad, region converter for N64 and start building up my N64 collection
Play more of the following: Old WRPGs, Old JRPGs, Old point and click games, classic 1990s PC games in general, play more strategy RPGs and get into some grand strategy game
Buy more of the following: Good Sega CD games, PS1 RPGs and try to get my PS1 collection some what completed, big box PC and Amiga games, invest in a few expensive games (Sega CD, Saturn etc)
Less stressing about collecting/money/playing stuff enough and more enjoying playing one game at a time
-I want to find a point and click adventure game that I actually enjoy
Have you played Curse of Monkey Island?

My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

- Continue working on my N64 collection. I must have every good game CIB!
- Same as above, but for oXbox.
- Catch up on all the Xbox 360 stuff I've missed out on over the past few years.

Against the myriad forces of bad luck, time, and fate working against me, I swear; I WILL beat Dragon Warrior Monsters 2. My childhood will not rest until I do!

Re: Aspirational Gaming Goals for 2013
Well, a general goal would be to work through the tons of Steam and GOG games I recently got for my new PC. More specifically though:
Finish all currently available Telltale games
Play more indie games
Maybe get a Vita
That's it. Seeing as I don't know what will happen in the game industry in 2013, as well as my inability to predict my own whims and impulses, I won't add any more specific goals than that

Re: Aspirational Gaming Goals for 2013
I dunno. I feel myself drifting a bit back towards playing on consoles and I've had a desire to go through some of the PS3 games I missed. This is a bit annoying, since I did just recently plump down a ton of money on a graphics card and my gaming PC is only about a year old.
As usual, I'll try and consolidate my collection as much as possible. The less I have to haul off to college the better. I hope the Ouya turns into a bonified emulation machine quickly after release.

Older. Not wiser.
