this is awful. i thought this surely had to be some kind of cruel joke. Breetai was always so friendly and helpful on this forum, and was always a pleasure to deal with in BST. i seriously can't even wrap my brain around this yet.

My sympathy to his family and friends. It's a terrible shame. We'll all miss him here. :(

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

Very sadden by the news, will miss you buddy. :(

Thank you for the private messages of conversation and friendship, I'm glad I got to know you some. Thank you TrevorF for letting us know, he has contributed and touch many of us here and we will keep him and his family in our prayers.

Rest in peace Breetai, even with your life coming to an end so soon I hope you got to experience some cherished moments...

This is the saddest news I've heard all week. There's nothing I can add, I always appreciated Breetai's positive attitude--he was always friendly in providing advice. We've lost a great member of the community. :(

Very tough news. I also thought from the title that perhaps he would just be on hiatus. Truly a travesty. No words could adequately ease the burden to his family, but I hope they are all able to recover from this tremendous loss.

I haven't been a member of these forums for very long, but from the short time I knew Breetai as a member here, I can tell that the PC Engine has lost one of its most knowledgeable and passionate proponents. It seems trivial to talk about video games at a time like this, but he has left a significant legacy in the members and pages of these forums, and I wish his daughter the best of luck in carrying on her father's life in her own.

This is just devastating. Like others, I can't even form words right now. Breetai was a proud and knowledgeable member of the forum and will be sorely missed.

My deepest condolences to his family.

This is terrible news. I don't post often, but I have been visiting the racketboy forums at least once a week since 2009. Though I never had much personal interaction with him, it seemed like Breetai was a big part of this community. I don't know. I feel for his family. Things won't ever be the same for them. I hope his daughter is fine. This makes me want to hug the people I still have. I really don't know.

Greatest condolences to the Cheslock family. I cannot fathom the pain they must be going through. That adorable picture of him with his daughter almost made me cry.

Rest in piece. The forum will never forget about you.
