I must be dumb but I didn't know CRT's could do component!
Re: o.pwuaioc's Collection (up: consoles, peripherals)
Nice set up, and love the CRT. I have me Emerson Flat tube with component also very good if any one finds one. I wish I could find me a Sony Trinitron one day. But Emerson also make a damn good newer CRT. How could you not have the Sega CD hooked up all the time though?

There pretty common here in NYC. I see them all the time on Craigslist. Incidentally, it's been difficult getting rid of one.bryan_65 wrote:I wish I could find me a Sony Trinitron one day. But Emerson also make a damn good newer CRT.
Two bricks! I had it in the bedroom with the PS2, actually, but now I have it right next to the stand for quick access whenever I want to fire of some Keio or Kolibiri. How could you not have the Sega CD hooked up all the time though?

Ha, did you not trust me? That SFC box is kept in great condition. And before you say anything, I'll get retrobrite one of these days. ;Ps1mplehumar wrote:You simply can't go wrong with old Sony tubes. Nice stuff man! Glad you kept the box.

Apply the stuff evenly. You wouldn't want to see how one of my retrobrited efforts turned out.o.pwuaioc wrote:That SFC box is kept in great condition. And before you say anything, I'll get retrobrite one of these days. ;P

^^
no, so my pride is kinda still intact.
but the main thing is to make sure to put the batch on as evenly as possible and not let it get dry.
