That looks original what is up with it?
Maybe he's never actually seen the original art before and doesn't realize that it doesn't look like a normal gamecube game.

You got it I guess, all the copies look like that to me, every one on ebay looks like that. Even the supposed sealed ones look like that. The one dsheinem just sold looked like that, I kinda wanted to buy it. Man this is driving me nuts now. I can not find the ''original'' art you speak of. I can find the Wind Waker variant and that is it. Please get me some pics.

The only thing I can maybe see is that doesn't look to have the notch out of the lower right corner but it is hard to see.

Let me know so I do not buy the wrong one. That game is high on my list of games to get.

Actually, I just looked at it closer...maybe it is genuine, It's just a front insert in a regular DVD case. Thanks for pointing that out guys.

That artwork is the original artwork that was found on the front of the game when it was released. My guess is it looks like that because it wasn't a mass release like Wind Waker (actually the OoT plus Master Quest game was only released via pre-orders for Wind Waker).

Despite only the front insert, no manual, and a generic DVD case with the game, $3.99 is a great price for that game.

Hit up so me more thrift shops while the girlfriend is away visiting family. Also found a nice shop specializing in nerd paraphernalia...comics as far as the eye can see, a nice corner full of retro games, many boxed, and Magic the Gathering stuff. I don't really get why Magic is such a big thing but to each their own.

Found nothing at the thrift stores today except the typical overpriced wares (why do they all think that a used Game Boy SP warrant $40 regardless of condition?). One had an NES Advantage in good shape, the stick was a bit squeaky. It was $8.00. I passed. I also passed on Halo 2, The Matrix (PS2) and a boxed NAB Action (Genesis) for $4.00 each because the store decided that wrapping the cases in shipping tape is a great idea (like 4 layers of tape vertically and horizontally). It's not like the cases contain gold or anything. That was overkill. One of the thrift stores had maybe 12 Dreamcast games (which I rarely see out in the wild anymore) but they were all sports and fishing. They were also $4 a piece. For a dollar, I would have grabbed them. Oh well.

Anyway, here what I picked up:

2Xtreme (PS1)- $2.99; complete
Resident Evil: Code Veronica (PS2) - $5.99; complete w/Devil May Cry demo disk
John Elway's QB (NES) - $2.99; box & game
Jordan Vs Bird (NES) - $2.99; box & game
NES Play Action Football (NES) - $2.99; box & game
NFL Football (NES) - $2.99; box & game
Othello (NES) - $2.99; complete
Various loose manuals- $0.50 each

I cleaned out the boxed NES stock (except for a beat up Tyson's Punch-out for $15 because I already have it boxed). The condition of the cartridges ranges from fair to awful but I only bought them for the boxes anyhow, as they are all in very good condition.

I also just got in a PS1 longbox Street Fighter Alpha off an eBay auction for $12.00 shipped. It too is in very good condition and complete.

This is my last splurge for a while. My soon-to-be fiancé thinks I've passed the bounds of hobby and stumbled into hoarding (game-wise). She's probably right so I'm going to give it a rest for a few months and only what I have allotted to my budget.

J_Wil, please resize your pictures before posting them, or at least spoiler them.

I'm sure some people here will appreciate that...

Sorry, I fiddled with the spoiler thingy and figured it out. Didn't mean to "that guy".

The whole point of this thread should be pictures of cool stuff, so as long as they aren't 10 megapixel images, this is one of the places it is an exception.

I think they are too big when you have to start scrolling from left to right.

That's when they stick out in comparison with the other posts.

But you're the mod, so if you say it's ok, then it's ok. Nevermind me...
