Bats, birds and bees tend to suck in every video game where they appear as enemies. So my list for most annoying video game enemies would be.

1. Bats
2. Birds
3. Bees

Skeletron is the final boss in Terraria and is, as you can plainly see, a total badass.

You'd rather befriend her than vanquish her. How'd such a strong, intelligent, good-hearted girl end up glowing blue and blowing up tanks?


He's a great villain in both Valkyrie Profile games, but the connection between them is even more impressive. He also seems to have a brain.

Those are the worst.

Those are the best. They make some impossible jumps possible (by getting hit by them) in the last legs of the game. The only one of those birds I do hate is in (I think) stage 5-3 where you have to do the tricky Z-jump.

But I'll take the birds over the funky jumpy Freddy/Froggy jumpy things in Gaiden any day. Those guys are complete chaos.

Couldn't agree more. So frustrating!

For me they have to be,

The Ghost Pirate LeChuck - I love this character. The witty dialog, the insane plots and most of all, his role at the end of Monkey Island 2... I won't spoil it for you, but definitely one of the best endings to a game.

Lan Di - What would any list be without someone mentioning Shenmue somewhere. There is a lot of mystery behind this character. I really wanted to know more about him and his motivations. There are some, clearly, but little was known about him. There was complexity, but of what kind.

Carmen Sandiego - Because seriously... where the fuck is she?
