What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

:? = Now I only have just over $100 to last me 2 weeks. I think I'll manage though. XMAS is soon enough, and I've gotten by on far less before.
If you get hungry, you can play some games on your shiny new tv to distract you. :)
Or s/he can eat cheap, cuz you'd be surprised at how much $100 can go. Back when I had only one job, I'd buy 2 weeks worth of groceries and hardly ever go over my $120 budget.

If you have a dollar store, check their grocery section. The local Dollar Tree in my neck of the woods has a nice selection of cheap eats. For three bucks, I can get a box of mac & cheese, some crackers and some chocolate chip cookies. Make it 5 and I can grab a 3 liter bottle of root beer and a cold 20oz Dr. Pepper.

Oh I've been there, believe me. I was just making a joke, all in fun, no offense intended.

If you really want to stretch your money, get lots of ramen noodles and eat off the dollar menu at mcdonalds.

Been on my own with a roommate since October now myself, I seem to be spending about ~$100 every two weeks as well for groceries. I used to stick with Walmart but my roommate got me hooked on HyVee. They always have way better produce/meat as well, but I wonder if I am spending a little more. Oh well.

I really need some right now but I'm feeling lazy today...

Ticked: One of my ears is all clogged up again... have had an infection for like 3-4 weeks now, on a second antibiotic, loaded with Claritin D and ibuprofen, ugh feeling pretty out of it today. It's another day where "noise" is irritating.

Happy: Made it safe to Wisconsin for the holidays.
Worried/Stressed/Ticked: Jeep broke down 15 miles from my destination, at the last Illinois tollbooth. Downshifted, and the engine died. Won't turn over. Looks like I'm losing a lot of oil, thankfully the engine didn't seize. I'm really not prepared to be purchasing a new car right now. My jeep is 12 years old now though, so it's only going to be a sink from here on out. :(

Smile: You guys are nuts. My grocery bill usually doesn't exceed $50 for two people for a week, and we don't eat junk like fast food and ramen noodles. It's quite simple actually.

Smile: No more Christmas parties until Christmas. Last night's party was ridiculously fun, albeit from a bit of schadenfreude, but it will be nice to be able to relax for now.

Super Smile: Last night was the first party I have thrown in years where no one spilled anything.

Mega Laugh: There are such things "Bowling Glasses". I love throwing rocks, but seriously?
