So it sure isn't a coincidence, BUT psych meds don't necessarily have to be to blame. It's probably that those people would go on a killing spree anyway, had they been taking psych meds or not. I don't really know, I'm not a psychiatrist.
100% of the killers drank water. Is that just a coincidence? No, they need water for other reasons than to feed their murderous ways.
Does it really surprise you that these mass murderers had psychological problems and that they might have tried to do something about them and been put on medication? That doesn't mean that the medication caused the problem. The problems that lead you to murder are something else, but I can confidently say that SSRIs are not creating murderers.

Yup, because so do 100% non-killers. However not even close to 90% non-killers take psych meds. But as I said in the previous post, the psych meds don't necessarily have to be to blame. Without psych meds, there could be even more killing sprees though. I don't know.
Anwhere from 10-20% of the country is on some form of psychotropic drug. It's not as prevalent as water, but that 10-20% of the country are not turning homicidal.
You don't even have a correlation, let alone enough to show a causal link. I'm sorry, but the article you posted is just crazy fear mongering stemming from a lack of understanding about psychotropic drugs or even an understanding of how basic science works, or even simple logic.

Well, we need to come out with something new. TV made way for heavy metal made way for video games. I suppose the next thing to corrupt our youth could be dubstep.

SSRIs should only be prescribed in EXTREME cases instead of being handed out by doctors like candy, as is the case now. I'm sure most SSRI users would be better off without them, and only a small percentage really benefits from them...

That's a different debate. The point here is simply that they don't turn people into mass murderers.
I'm finding it pretty frightening that the "only reason" many people are not killing is for the fear of getting caught. The only thing holding someone back is fear. Psychopaths don't have that fear or don't care about the consequences.
I'm sure it's not as black and white as that, as i've certainly thought "Sometimes the world would be a better off place if so-and-so was dead. I couldn't justify anything as extreme as killing unless someone I knew was being attacked. Again, I wouldn't necessarily even kill that person. I would use the most force necessary to stop what was happening.
I really don't want to get into the psychotropic discussion, but newspaper statistics are bogus and that is a ridiculous story. I've worked with emotionally/intellectually disabled people for years and they are not societal threats due to their medication. However, I do agree that most people are over medicated.
