I've been singing that damn R.E.M. song "it's the end of the world" all night. I have no idea what the words are so I've been doing the same as Homer and making up my own as I go.

So what happens if the end of the world doesn't happen? Losing My Religion?

The date is significant for Mayans though. It's the 'next age'. I suppose that's kinda religious.

personally i'm wondering what the next apocalypse freakout will be. I know there's the 2038 problem with 32-bit time stamp values which is kinda similar to the Y2K thing, but I doubt anyone will be using 32-bit computers any more by then.

Since REM got brought up, it got me thinking of songs. Being a huge Marilyn Manson fan I check all of his sets and he brought out the acoustic version ''The Last Day on Earth'' the past 2 nights in Russia (It is about 6 am 12-22 in Russia as of writing this).
