Just get easily frustrated, especially when my dog did it. Please note that I'm new to the series fr the most part as well.

First world problem of the day:

My diabetic, depressed, elderly mailman is very hard to buy for. Going to go with meat and cheese tray...again :/

You buy shit for your mailman? Hell, I might consider it if mine could just come up with a consistent time in which to deliver the mail.

Anyway, I have a neighbor who laughs loudly. I'm glad he is so happy, but I wish his laugh wouldn't carry through the walls so easily. Whatever he is watching is pretty funny, but it has made for some awkward moments. One night I was in the process of...doing things (family friendly website after all) with a lady friend, and he starts laughing away at something, which makes both of us laugh at his timing.

That's a tough one Mike. I'm guessing your mailman does a lot less walking around then mine but everyone in the state loves wool socks this time of year right?

That reminds me I need to figure out why my license hasn't arrived yet. It's been 3 months at least and I already had to go to the dmv to get them to reissue me paperwork since it expires after 2 months. Why can't this be a state that gives you your license at the dmv when you get your picture taken? Don't answer that I'm sure it's something with national security and the insane amount of foreigners in the state.

I have a feeling I am going to find out that I somehow owe the government money or some stupid thing like that.

Have you had a chat with him? Maybe he does not realize that his loud laugh carries through the walls?

I've done it for 3 and a half years. It quite simply is not good for your health, period. You might handle it fine, but that doesn't mean it's good for you.
Everyone who's been on my shift for more than a year or so looks pretty haggard. You can tell just looking it's not healthy, and then there's the people who double-wammy themselves by smoking too.

I'm kinda curious what the statistics are for third shift. Average amount overweight, how many years it cuts off your life, etc.

It SUCKS. It wouldn't be so bad if each song were different, but instead there's about 5 or 6 versions of every song. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is the one that gets on my nerves the most.
