Should have stuck it out.
probably will at some point. man, i got two young kids and i need complete silence when watching movies with british kids. may sound dumb, but i really got to concentrate to keep up with their speech. the adults, not so much, but i got a hard time with young british kids. maybe i'm just to used to southern speech being alot slower or something. :)

JACK REACHER

Not exactly sure what this film was going for. The dialogue is pretty awful, the story is the same old same old, the villain is cheesy, but for some reason it isn't an homage to bad 80's supercop shows. Some will quickly fall in love with this movie simply for the fact that they love Tom Cruise. I think Tom Cruise can be great, but this role should have gone to someone younger, taller, and doesn't need a slew of obvious stunt doubles.

I'm a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to action stars as I'm tired of either 20-something guys that look like they just walked off the set of a cologne commercial (but I loved Marvel's The Avengers) or guys in their 50's that I'm supposed to believe have the agility of a teenager (yet I love The Expendables). Maybe that's why I still love action flicks from the 90's. The stars usually did their own stunts, they new martial arts, and they were believable and looked like they could put a hurtin' on just about anyone. I digress.

If action/thrillers are your thing, or you enjoy the books series this is based on, you may really enjoy this. For me, there was nothing new about this movie and very little I liked about it.

edit* ANCHORMAN 2, 12/20/2013. I hope that people aren't Carellel'd, Ferrerll'd, and Rudd'd out by the time this is released.

Wake in Fright

A one-of-a-kind film that is as unnerving as it is peculiar.

I saw it in 3D and it was awesome (It's a native 3D film but for some reason the US Blu-Ray is cut and in 2D, why? I don't know). The part with the blinking lights though almost made me have a seizure (It's even worse than the Enter The Void and Irreversible credits).

I'm seeing The Hobbit tomorrow in HFR3D and then I'm off to watch The Life Of Pi.
