A girl I know chose to use her phone's camera + screen as a mirror instead of a real one, because that way she could "see myself in HD."

It's sad when someone says something so dumb I have no retort.

HD is much better than the near infinite resolution provided by a mirror.

You ever find yourself embellishing a little bit (or a lot)? The other day I was shooting the shit with some people at work, the topic of music came up, and I mentioned that I "played bass." This is complete nonsense - I have a bass guitar (it was a gift) and can play maybe a few songs. I can read tabs but not music.

Anyway, I found out today that a "staff band" is performing at the school's yearly talent show. Without my consent the music teacher signed me up as the bass player. HAHAHAHA. I guess I could be irritated, but I'm more amused than anything.

I have Christmas vacation to learn a song or two - I think I can do it.

I feel like this is one of those situations George Costanza would find himself in.

I planned it as a temporary job from the start.

I only have one "real" job on my resume that lasted 4 months. Not sure how that will pan out. I was extremely well liked by the boss thouh.

I wouldn't think so. I would imagine most of them would take the factor of school into account. Like Luke said though, just make sure you're references are good and that everything lines up with what you're telling them.
