What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

My wife attempted to watch THE HUNGER GAMES last night. Around an hour and a half in she turned it off with the statement "I'd rather watch Full House". Which was quite the backhanded compliment.

Upon another viewing, Hunger Games stinks something big.

*note I have not read/seen Hunger Games*

So are you going to rectify that and watch Battle Royale instead?

Cleanse yourself from the bastardization with the original.

Yeah, the second film is horrible.

Edit: Oh, you were referring to Hunger Games. The second Battle Royale still sucks so avoid anyhow.

I watched Godzilla vs. Biollante. Not the best G film by far but decent enough.

I've already seen both...Many moons ago. ATTACK THE BLOCK is probably my favorite "kids must survive" movie of 2012. Hunger and Battle both have the same problem with being action movies; there's not enough action. Hunger is flat out boring. Battle could have been written by an elementary school student who has a solid 2.0 gpa.

Speaking of re-watching movies I haven't seen in about a year, This Is 40 is not the same movie I screened. It is now FUNNY PEOPLE in length and there is probably a solid two hours of one couple arguing. Over, and over, and over which seems like it goes on forever.

Still bladder breaking hilarious at times, but not in my top 5 of 2012 anymore. This is, was, an incredibly smart and funny 110 minute movie. Someone on Judd's team seriously need to tell him to cut out some of the fat.

Your typical over-the-top violent, straight-to-DVD B-movie shenanigans. Now in FullHD

Thats odd, I was in the Smile/Ticked thread. Well, thats just another thing thats a pain today.

Last movie I saw was The Long, Long Trailer with Lucy and Desi. It is a fun romp about newly weds buying a camping trailer and hauling it across part of the country. It is just a fun color Lucy flick.
