Yeah, I really wanted to see a good NMK game that wasn't Zed Blade get some love, so I kinda played it safe. Rapid Hero is a straight fight or die, like an old Psikyo shooter. Gunnail is... weird. You get more points the less lives you have, and if you go into a boss fight with no lives, you get x30 points on him... but have to do the entire fight with a warning siren ringing in your ear. Its pretty quirky. Thunder Dragon 2 is probably my favorite, music done by Manabu Namiki, medal chaining, hidden secrets, and a nice difficulty.
My goal is to make at least one new NMK fan.

Hmmm... Gunnail sounds interesting. Either way, I'll probably just download all 3 roms when we get to your month, and try 'em all.

I'm not really sure what counts as a cute em up. Muchi Muchi Pork seems like it could qualify, but I don't get a cute em up feel from it. It seems more pervy and wacky than cute.
I think it's stuff that just uses cutesy charcters, like TSS or Parodius and so forth.
Damn, now I think I should have made TSS one of my picks.
TSS is boring 1-Player.
