What Tyranix95 did was just to vote for whatever the person whose category it was voted for. So e.g. you abstained from mjmjr25's choices, but since he voted for Cotton Boomerang, you could default to that as well.

The conventional wisdom thus far has been that if you'd like to defer your vote, then voting with the member of that month is the simplest thing to do.

I'm sure Bruno is just hoping that we can share in the time taken, so that he doesn't have to take an hour or more of his time between Christmas and New Year's just cross referencing votes.

I was unaware that counting abstained votes was so difficult. If bruno wants to make sure the amount totals are equal for every category just account for the number of abstained votes in each category along with the votes for each game. SIMPLE.

Then the numbers for each category will all total to the exact same amount.

I have a question about the Ketsui Death Label vote. Can we change it to all versions of Ketsui (Xbox 360 port, pcb, mame) and Ketsui Death Label (DS)? If we would play the arcade version too, then I would emphatically change my vote to Ketsui since I REALLY like Ketsui.

IMO, if there is an Arcade / Mame ver of the game, then it should automatically be Grandfathered (included) in the club.

except that Death Label is an entirely different game/experience than Ketsui on 360/MAME.

I don't understand why you want to restrict it to an expensive crappy handheld port when there exists a great port and the arcade original. The DS port is only a boss rush because of hardware limitations. We had split scoreboards last year (Truxton, Mars Matrix).

But, this is why us choosing games is awesome. We can all bitch at each other for our choices, political undermindings, etc. Much more thrilling than everyone being cool with the games or just not playing them like last year.

I think the list looks pretty badass, very few games that I would have been sad to see win.
