I think Sapphire is far enough ahead that offering other Ketsui's is a moot point, and yes, they are completely different from the DS version. The Arcade game is amazing. The DS boss-rush version sucks, which is why I think dsh picked it.

Do we have an end date for voting?

End of the month is all Bruno's mentioned about when he'd be doing the final tally, I think.

We're still missing some people's votes, like hash's.

Fuck that, I quite like Death Label. At least I didn't give everyone a "choice" of three games from the same shitty series.

You already said you picked it because it's expensive, not on MAME, and figured no one would pick it.

You tried to rig your picks so everyone would pick CC. Your idea backfired.

This was all done after your democracy schpeel. If your intent was to play CC, you should have said so from day one - it was an option to just pick one game you wanted to play, instead of going through the bullshit facade, Dave.

I don't see a contradiction between wanting a democratic process and wanting to see a certain game get selected. You are right that I didn't think people would pick Ketsui or Sapphire due to emulation/cost barriers, but that doesn't mean I don't/won't enjoy playing either of them.

I'll make an effort to do it a few days before the month's end so everyone can start planning out what games they may buy and whatnot, but I will make the first month's game something that is available cheap.

You don't - but you see a problem with Superpacs, right? How is it any different. You nominate (3) choices and then throw all your support behind one choice, literally telling people to, "pick this game". Telling us it's hard to pay for or source ways to play the others. Telling us to support indie shmups, support a forum member, and then a detailed review of one of your games, not all three?

How does the voting work? It's tough to figure it out when I do not see any info in the post on page 1.

Anyway, I'll throw out some names for now:
Crimzon Clover
Triggerheart Exelica
Mushihimesama Futari
Castle of Shikigami 3
AirRade Air
Trouble Witches
RefRain Prism Memories
Diadra Empty
