I've seen some crazy-looking RPG characters before, but so far I've been able to shake my head and move on. This is...intolerable. I have seen much worse fantasy armor... Atleast this seems to have some function, but it just ornate. Looks more like ceremonial fantasy armor.

At least he wasn't the protagonist...Lighting will look like this for all of Lighting Returns, and she'll be the only character in your "party."

Doesn't really seem to be all that different from her XIII-2 outfit. In some ways, actually more understated (she's not wearing half a feather dress for example). The armor gives more of a DRK vibe than PLD as well. At least they seem to have gotten over the belt fetish, no?

Frankly, plenty of the classic FF characters look pretty terrible too. Dress her up like a clown and she'd fit into FFVI.
