I guess after the LE runs out, we´ll all want one and start cursing at ebay: theze prizes!!!!
Are there any plans for the "LE" to run out? I'm not being fecetious, I just figured that would be the only SKU for this thing.

And the ebay prices are getting a little more realistic. $280 for a machine that costs $200. At the end of the day, sellers would be making maybe $50 on that deal.

There's a version with just the handheld coming out in Feb, without the extra stuff or Ninja Master's.

But I think the "LE" version is just the Gold "comes with the stick and docking station" version. But it won't have Ninja Masters anymore.

I think, anyway.

I'm fairly upset. GS messed up and didn't have my preorder today. Not only that, but the manager was unable to locate my unit in their system's shipment reports. I mean its not like I had only put 20$ down on it, I had the thing paid off I'd expect a little more service and consideration. But this is Gamestop, and I should've known better and expected it really.
Boy I tell you what, are those some god dang video games?

I played one of these today. One of my friends just got it in the mail. Definitely cool. The joystick felt good, although I think the joystick ball was smaller than on the AES and made of different material. Then again, the AES stick I was using has had the ball replaced. Other than that, I put it next to an actual AES stick and they felt just about the same. The 'clicking' nose was a bit different between the two, but I didn't notice much difference in feel. The NGX joystick feels slightly lighter than the real one as well.

The actual handheld unit was very impressive from the little bit I played with it for.

Just got home with mine, and I'm impressed. It's clearly emulation, as expected and the menu is kinda blah like that one guy had mentioned on N-G.com, but the loading time isn't as bad as he said. It's not bad at all. I did get my Ninja Master's card, and it literally is an SD card. Even has the little slider for locking/unlocking.

I almost want to slap it into my computer to see what happens..

Controls are pretty responsive, but I haven't tested it on my TV yet. I dont feel like fiddling with HDMI cables and what-not. But I'll have to set it up to charge, as apparently it only charges with the docking station and not it's AC adapter. :/

edit: Also, the presentation here is actually pretty damn top notch. The outside sale box is very reminiscent of the original AES box, and it has 2 white boxes inside. One box for the stick, the other for the Docking station/handheld. And on the white boxes is the familiar Neo Geo 'logo' that looks like it's a torn piece of paper:

The old Neo's, and sticks came in boxes like that, as did the memory cards. They clearly put some thought and love into the packaging for this thing.

Arrived at work to find mine had arrived, too!

My co-workers were like "What the hell is that?"

I am really impressed with the packaging of this whole thing. As mentioned, a lot of love went into this. Totally worth the $200 price tag.

Sweet pics guys. I am glad everyone seems happy with the product so far. I though about getting one for a long time, but I just couldn't bring my self to do it. Mainly because I have a MVS setting in the next room. If I had not got my cab I may have jumped on one. Any way looking forward to more pics and reviews. Now start playing everyone.

Yeah, if I hadn't just aquired an AES in the last couple months, I'd definitely have jumped on this.

Does anyone know if you can buy these in any stores? It seems like an online only thing, but if I could walk into somewhere after work I might have to pull the trigger lol.
