She's always been loony, but this is an over the top lack of respect. Telling the families their children deserved to die and supporting that claim is just...wow. Some people I will never, ever understand.
She's nuts and inconsiderate and a host of other things (I have no idea who that is either)but was she saying they deserved to die? It didn't seem so from that line.
Twisting the event into a topic that is completely unrelated is definitely an example of using it to further a political agenda, but I don't necessarily see that in everyone's responses. Something bad happens and we look for a way to stop it again. That's different from manipulating it for your own purposes as she has done. Even that Huckabee thing, which I didn't see but have seen multiple suggestions along the same line (it's because we took prayer out of school I say!) is not necessarily a manipulation. It's just someone saying what they believe may have lead to the event and what they think could have changed it.
Been at work alot. Just saw some photos of the kids. Tears me up inside and out. Watching the president now. As a parent it hit home. I'm soo sorry for the kids and teachers who lost their lives in newtown.

She definitely believes they deserved to die because of God's fury.
Watch the video I posted and you'll understand how wako she is.
I like that Anonymous made it very clear (after publishing personal information for Westboro Baptist Group members) that they would cripple their organization if they dared to protest the funerals.

So odd how these groups that protest violence only seem to cause it.
some 19 yr old emo fucker got arrested sunday near me with threatening to copycat the ct. shooting on facebook. was charged with violation of the act of terrorism law, harassment, and having drug paraphernalia.
Something I heard on the radio rings rather true: three of the last big shootings (the Arizona congresswoman who was shot, the Aurora theater, and this one just now) all have something in common: the shooter was, to those who had contact with him, obviously mentally ill. Perhaps we need to start locking up insane people and forcing treatment before they commit crimes, rather than after? That was how things were done until the '70s. Even if Ryan's mother had known he was violently unbalanced and liable to murder as a direct result, she couldn't have had anything done under today's law to prevent what happened because he hadn't committed any crimes (yet).
