Luke, please knock some sense into your stupid stupid friend? Do they own any diamonds? They must like killing people in Africa. Do they drive a car? They must like us fighting wars in the Middle East. Etc...
dsheinem wrote:they aren't like cars or knives though. with cars you risk hurting yourself if using it to attack, and with a knife you have to get close and use physical force. neither is true with a gun.
I think you'll find plenty of idiots and children that don't know any better manage to hurt themselves with guns just fine.

It is very difficult to own a gun in Japan. Amusingly I don't believe they do the orange tip thing like we do on airsoft guns and other gun shaped things as they don't expect anyone to have one so they're not likely to accidentally shoot anyone.

The events of Friday were horrible, but the outright banning of firearms is silly. I know it will be a hot button subject here for the next few weeks. But the alternatives that keep popping up are silly. For example, one of my wife's friends suggested that they should train teachers and older students Krav Maga. And when I pointed out that teaching bullies how to harm people more effectively is a very bad idea, he said "its better than people owning guns." Apparently he is very anti-firearms yet he is a big Call of Duty fan... Now I am not one to say that I know how to fix the issue, but brash decisions always end up hurt more in the long run.

What really struck home is that it happened in a buddy of mines elementary/primary school (he moved when he was 8), and he has a nephew who was a grade older than the ones who were shot. It was also one of my reps elementary school, but he graduated from there back in the early 70s.

That's certainly a thing in the UK though.

Didn't Hot Fuzz show us that if the police don't have guns they can't stop evil HoAs?

I've heard mixed reviews about it, but at that price, I figured I'd bite.
They sell Otomedius at Ollie's?? Holy crap.
that's what I was thinking.

Did you get the CE for that price fox?
Nah, just the standard version.

They also had Sin & Punishment on Wii for the same price; I passed on that, though.

The hose that connects water to the washing machine busted. It's on the main floor, right above where the bar is. Happened last week Wednesday about midnight. I was actually in North Carolina. Luckily my youngest wasn't feeling well and woke my wife up around 1 am or else it probably would of ran all night. Water was gushing down the stairs and into the closest under the stairs. The plastic shelf container you can see in the third picture next to one of the blowers was in there. It was where I stored my controllers. I guess the entire thing was completely filled with water. I was told at one point it might of been better that I was out of town.

That's balls, dood. :(

Hopefully, the controllers were the only casualties?
