I'm guessing all of the Imagic titles are exclusive, there's some good ones in there like Atlantis, Demon Attack and Dragonfire.
Some of the M Network games too maybe though some were arcade titles, etc.
Are there any Activision games that didn't make it to a compilation?

Re: Best True Atari 2600 Exclusives
If an Atari 2600 port was not later ported to another system, I am still interested in hearing about it.
For example, I consider the Atari 2600 port of Pac-Man to be an "exclusive" because - although Pac-Man is available almost anywhere - the Atari 2600 port is exclusive to the console. The Atari 2600 port of Centipede, however, is not an "exclusive" because it appears on the Atari Anthology.
I have highlighted this distinction in the OP.

Perhaps more clarification in your OP?prfsnl_gmr wrote:If an Atari 2600 port was not later ported to another system, I am still interested in hearing about it.

I have created two lists in the original post to highlight this distinction.
I think your second list is opening a can of worms, everyone has their favorite. In addition, Demon Attack did make an appearance on other consoles so the exclusive is moot since they are similiar. Pacman also is not really exclusive other then its unique levels and flickering graphics. In that line of thinking, maybe Pacman Jr which has levels different from the Arcade and good graphics for a 2600 game. Also the only Home Console release, if you don't include 8 bit computers or the beta later release on the 5200.
Maybe the second list could include 2600 games that did not appear on other systems EXCEPT compilation emulator discs? Every 2600 game is emulated commercially or thru download rom sites.

Re: Best True Atari 2600 Exclusives
just out of curiosity, did you check to see if a list of "non-ported" VCS games exists on AtariAge or elsewhere?

Re: Best True Atari 2600 Exclusives
I have not...I am new to the Atari 2600, and only after reading your post did I learn the meaning of the terms "VCS". I will check AtariAge for recommendations, but I am primarily interested in the opinion of the Racketboy community.
I also agree that my second category is confusing, and I am editing the OP to exclude it.

I just thought they might have a list we could look through of ALL non ported games for us to the suggest the BEST games from that list. Would be a handy list to have!prfsnl_gmr wrote:I will check AtariAge for recommendations, but I am primarily interested in the opinion of the Racketboy community.

Gotcha.
They have a similar thread at AtariAge, but I have not yet located a list of exclusives...If I do, however, I will place it in the OP.

If this is meant to be a 'best' list, RotLA needs to come off of there.

He never said anything about best, but regardless, I've always been a fan of Raiders. I remember my Mom and I trying to navigate it and getting excited about figuring out parts of the game.Hobie-wan wrote:If this is meant to be a 'best' list, RotLA needs to come off of there.
