So, this school didn't have a resource officer or anything?

I guess I find that odd since I remember each one of my schools having one.

I can't even imagine the hell that this was, and is. God. One of teachers, my age -- 27 -- died trying to shield her class. Hero.

I wish news sites would refrain from posting image slideshows of frantic family members at the scene. It's obscenely disrespectful.

I read about that. Absolutely inexcusable. Not only that, but in articles reporting on his incorrect identification they were still posting screengrabs of his comments, which often included friends' responses without their names or avatars censored! Who thought that was a good idea? Great job potentially mucking up even more innocent lives, guys!

Victoria Jackson's bat shit insanity has reached a fever pitch. She tweeted this hours after the massacre:

My friend Jim Riley posted: "Wasn't the Connecticut killer just doing what abortionists do every day? It's a wonder we don't have more 20 year old "dads" doing what women and doctors have been an accomplice to for years in America. When you forget the TEN COMMANDMENTS, people, THIS is what you get."

What a soulless you know what.

Whenever something like this happens people use it as a platform for their political agenda. On both sides of the fence. Sad and disturbing.

I have a three year old daughter and a 5 month old son and this event really sets off the panic alarm for me. I'm just glad I don't have to send them to school yet or I would probably have a nervous breakdown.

She's always been loony, but this is an over the top lack of respect. Telling the families their children deserved to die and supporting that claim is just...wow. Some people I will never, ever understand.

I have no idea who she is. You know though 'god kills fags', god kills Haitians, etc... Might as well add children to the list. I have nothing against religion or highly religious people but some of them are so over the top they become a caricature.

Sadly this isn't the first kind of comment I read like this since the shooting. You have to have huge balls and zero human empathy to push your unrelated political agendas with this kind of human suffering.

Didn't Mike Huckabee try and blame the incident on the lack of prayer in schools or something stupid like that?

I'm pretty sure that's not what Jesus would have done.

Made even more stupid by the fact that the shooter was home schooled for most of his school career.
