I'm asking if you ever bought a console that was a total failure. I'm not talking gamecube or saturn/dreamcast. Let me define the quiesiton. Did you ever own a non nintendo/sega/atari/sony/microsoft system? and did you feel when they stopped making game for it (or that there never were any games for it:P)
EDIT: I'm asking if you bought the console when it came out.
Did you ever buy a console that was a failure?

not really
i don't understand why would people buy failing systems, (i understand the 3do )
when there is always the better, i mean who wants to buy jaguar when SNES and genesis are there?
although i recall asking my mom to buy me atari jaguar

The N-Gage actually has some pretty awesome games on it.
Re: Did you ever buy a console that was a failure?
I adore my N-gage, just got it fix (although now the 3 6 and 9 buttons don't work) so I'm playing all my old favourites. Pathway to Glory is really good fun, reminds me of Company of Heroes, only smaller!
I usually back the underdog rather than the failure, N64 in 32bit wars, Gamecube in 128 etc... Maybe I just back Nintendo... Still I don't have a Wii.

I've never bought a single console at launch, but I always do enjoy picking up the failures. I've started to make something of a collection.

Didn't buy it at launch, but I did save up all summer in 1994 to buy a 3DO after the price dropped the bargain price of $400.

I regret not buying dreamcast or gamecube while they were in. especially since i worked at a retailer when they were first released. ::sigh::
The only systems i've owned during their peak were 2600, nes, and now 360.
Snes i bought in 97, eveyrhting else while it was dead.
i own a ps2 but i haven't figured out its peak yet.
