Yep I did that with those stupid scuba zombies twice. Once in an enclosed space, the first time I had saw one and I shot it. The second time I had been doing super well, was smart and went around corner to a ladder instead of just running out into the street. When I got to the alley I saw a zombie being all dumb and thought "alright I can sneak up on him!" got up there, cricket bat raised and let go, zombie turns around and the light changes "NOOOO!!!" *BOOM*

Are they suppose to be scuba divers? I was thinking they were patients with oxygen tanks but then why would the tank be strapped to them. I guess scuba divers make sense.

You know how the first three survivors you get are the same for everyone and then it randomizes after that? I wonder if there is a different ending if you finish with one of them. Anyone know?

I agree with what you are saying about characters but I guess it is just part of the game. My favorite survivor was a female major, in the army I guess, named ...something...Watson. She was in full camo fatigues, had her hair pulled back and I just felt like she would be able to survive better . She lasted a few hours actually but I had her when I went to the church. There was no way I was going to survive with her not having any idea how to proceed near the end there.
