Re: ...and Top 10 SNES Games!
Wow, SFII is so good it makes your list twice, huh?
I had a tough time decided whether to list Mega Man 7 or X, I loved both but I have really good memories of being snowed in and busting through 7.
I just picked up copies of MM X2 and X3, along with Kirby Super Star and Dreamland 3, and Zombies Ate my Neighbors. Can't wait to get those in the mail.
I'm gonna have to pick up a copy of Star Ocean, I keep hearing good things about it.

Re: ...and Top 10 SNES Games!
You know, as a Genesis guy myself, this is actually a very hard list to make.
I can at least list a few that I remember enjoying a great deal, though.
Mario Kart
Super Mario World
Secret of Mana
...and here's one that may place me square in the line of some mocking, but my brother and I had a ridiculous amount of fun with Mario Paint. I have to say it defined my experience with the SNES as I now remember it. How bizarre is that?

Wow, I can't believe I left that one out! I'm gonna have to edit my list, MARIO PAINT is definitely on my top 10 list. There hasn't been a game like that since!
Hey, remember the fly swatter game? Hahah, that was awesome.

Actually, yeah, I really do enjoy SF2 that much! Heheh. Honestly, the Mega Man games have always been a favorite. Even though platformers bug me, Mega Man was always so good to me and the games just so much fun...they both had to make the list.Ziggy587 wrote:Wow, SFII is so good it makes your list twice, huh?I had a tough time decided whether to list Mega Man 7 or X, I loved both but I have really good memories of being snowed in and busting through 7.

Unfortunately, Star Ocean is Japanese only. I have a lot of respect for the creation process and the plot, but the only way I've managed to play was via emulator, sad to say. I don't speak a word of Japanese...Well, I do, but none that's really fit to say on here. There's children present. Anyway, if you can read Japanese, I highly recommend it. It really pushed the SNES to the max in terms of capability and it is a great game. And if not...shoot, tell me, I'll find and link the ROM.

Hell yeah, Zombies Ate My Neighbors! That game is great. Its so corny, but much fun. Have you ever heard of this game?

The so-called sequel to Zombies? I wanna pick up a copy of that, too.

I just thought it was funny because SF2 (original) and Turbo are pretty much the same game. Still, that doesn't stop me from owning the original, Turbo, and Super versions. Mega Man is great stuff though, I think I'm gonna play though 1-6 before 9 comes out. Then I'll rock 7, X, and my recently acquired X2 and 3.Ack wrote: Actually, yeah, I really do enjoy SF2 that much! Heheh. Honestly, the Mega Man games have always been a favorite. I'm sure I can find a link to the ROM on my own. Has it ever been translated by any one? Ya know, I've thought about getting Rosetta Stone to learn Japanese, but ditched that idea after realizing how expensive the software is!Ack wrote: Unfortunately, Star Ocean is Japanese only.
