Just because we love the classics, doesn't mean we can't also drool over the latest graphics and tech.

But call of duty is running on an engine that is what, 3 or 4 years old? No where near cutting edge then or now. I guess I mis-phrased my first comment, I was just surprised that anyone would be shocked by cod not being up to standards of the industry.

That's just it. It doesn't matter that it's an old engine. It's the resolution it's running in. It's completely pathetic. And to think people still believe these consoles are still relevant power wise.

New engines can't make old hardware seem better than they are. In fact, they tend to make it even more obvious that the hardware is old.

But it's the same for the Wii U isn't it? It's just lazy developers not optimizing mostly.
But yes I can't wait for the new batch of consoles myself. I also swore off cod after mw2 but I really want black ops 2 for some search and destroy, the closest thing to counter strike on a console. Cs:go just wouldn't have that large of a player base on a console to be as fun I think.

You know what I'm going to go find out now and dl cs:go on my ps3 since I forgot and only remembered it since it's on your steam sig.
