I dislike those rockers also - gave mine away.

I just recently picked up an ottoman gaming chair from Target. It transforms into a regular chair with a storage area for controllers and games. Coupled in with my regular office desk chair (which is comfortable) gives me a decent setup.

I like the unique storage for sure - I worry about comfort, for $85 I have to think the joinery is very basic (long staples, thin nails, cheap glue, etc) and probably particle board instead of high density plywood? How are they holding up for you guys? What about the faux leather - it's fastened well and not squeaky / sticky?

I did minor research last night and cheapest online I saw was $200 plus ship on those, most places were $250+. So maybe it is a $200 chair and you just got a great deal?

I bought a real leather chair from Target for around $350 two to three years ago. There are about four, one inch long tears on the seat, and two in the arms. It was great for a year, but man it started to fall apart quickly. Again, I would urge you to avoid buying furniture from Target if you expect it to last.

it's actually holding up nicely. when i assembled the chair the screws fit tightly into the fix hole. the faux leather is fastened well and not a single squeaky. the storage underneath the chair is a big plus for game controllers and the built in 2.0 speakers outputs well enough. however the chair size is a bit small for taller/bigger people. you can't lean back on this chair and when you fold the chair down it doesn't feel comfortable (maybe because of the built in speakers inside). also as a note, i did bought a chair from Target before and it lasted me for about 6 years before it gave up.

It sounds weird, but there are some low to the ground camping chairs that are great for gaming and they fold up for easy storage.
