I'm relatively new to enjoying the genre and have picked up a lot from the main thread, but here's some of the stuff I'm into recently.

Italo Disco: This genre is really cheesy and straight out of the 80's, but I love the textures and melodies.
Koto - Jabdah //Major Cheese, but catchy
ANDROID - Aliens //I like the main baseline
Ghecko - Firelight // Super catchy. One of my favs
Dhuo - Chinatype // Dark, chill, and almost dubby. Also a fav

Chiptunes:
4mat - Chipmusic is Dead // Probably my favorite chip artist
Yerzmyey - YM Digital // This guy is a genius for ZX spectrum +Amiga, but I can't find any of my favorite songs on youtube.
Knife City - Slam Dunk Lifestyle // Another Chiptune powerhouse.

Electro? Sorry, I don't know all the sub genres so I'm just going to stick totally unrelated examples here:
Com Truise - Futureworld // This whole record is the same tempo and funky/chill. Love the synth textures.
Tycho - A walk
Acid Washed - Acid Washed
Moresounds - SNAFU //a nice lil' record with r+b and dub influences
Little Dragon - My Step

I won't post a ton more, but JT and Hobie have posted great artists in many electronic genres; Distance, Christoph De Babalon, Enduser, Squarepusher, Autechre, Benga, Tipper, ETC... Keep em' coming! I want more!

Thanks for that. I just loaded up his bandcamp page and I am digging the sounds. Very unique chiptune artist. It's certainly chip instrumentation, but it doesn't sound like videogame music. It's different. I like. :D

Splatinum

My friend is in this group (he's on the left in the picture). We've made music together in the past. I really dig this track of his that's a remix of Screamin' Jay Hawkins "I Put A Spell On You":

Boy is Fiction's debut is still a go to album for getting some work done, listening to it now...

@fvgazi

Some good stuff there. The 4mat was really good and the Moresounds was great!

I'd link you to Vicious Pink - 8:15 To Nowhere, but there's no good ones on YT right now. The slowed down one is poo and the other has no bottom end at all. Sounds like listening to it in an elevator or something.

Hell yeah!

I'm really into Death in June along with all the associated neofolk/martial industrial stuff (Current 93, Sol Invictus, etc)...
