Oh, there will be an XBLA and PSN release. Some kind of special edition with extra playable characters, downloadable street fighter characters. If it doesn't happen, I'll be amazed.

Of course, that's assuming this game doesn't get cancelled...
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

i guess they just need to add "Super" on the title...or "Arcade Edition" at the end to make it a special edition. adding a number "2" wouldn't hurt either.

So, I guess this is a doujin game that Capcom officially endorsed after initially giving them a C&D order? Well, glad they came to their senses. Hopefully that is a sign of things to come. I'll definitely want to play this. It looks insanely awesome, and I'm surprised that Capcom didn't do this themselves before.

So from the video, I guess this is going to be a Mega Man style game with the bosses being from Street Fighter right? At first I was thinking a straight up fighter, but I think I like this idea a lot better. This looks very cool and even if it is not insanely great I am sure it will still be worth a play through. I am a big fan of both series and also love the throw back 8-bit style. Can't wait to give this a try. I have never liked playing games on my computer unless they were made for it (Wolfenstein 3D and Doom are the only computer games I played, and that was years ago) Now I really need to get a USB controller to play this with, may even have to finally get a NES adapter or something.

RetroUSB's NES to USB adapter is the best one Ive used. It is solidly built and supports all standard controllers and most others. I used it to play Megaman 9 and 10 on Dolphin.

im pretty pumped for this. i love the idea that it's an 8 bit megaman game as opposed to a fighter (we've had plenty of cross overs this gen already in that genre).

shits gonna be awesome :D. they'll be dropping the ball if guile is not in it though, and they need his theme to be playing the entire level. shit would catch on like wildfire.

I hope this is just the beginning of the revival of the mega man franchise! I can't wait to try this game out next week.

Wow, it's a Mega Man rather than a fighting game. Awesome! That has me much more excited about it. I have to say though, we may be getting a few too many Mega Man games lately with this, some of the fan made stuff out there, and Mega Man 9 and 10. I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it. The Street Fighter thing is a cool touch I admit.

Well, here's something else I can enjoy on my shiny, new PC

I really wish someone would make a fan made Mega Man X game. I'm a bit jealous that only classic Mega Man gets so much love from fans.

In case anyone is confused this is a fan made game. It's the reason it's not going onto XBLA/PSN and why it's going to be free (though they expressed the future possibility of a release on other platforms).

Capcom just decided to officially support it which is really cool.

I think the X series had its fair share of spot light. The normal Megaman games were neglected for nearly 20 years by most of the gaming public.
