Legacy of the Wizard is fantastic.
And it's technically part of the Dragon Slayer series, which also contains Faxanadu (another great NES game).

Also, I wanted to say that Hobie is the only person I can think of that is really into heavy hitting and abrasive industrial music, and uses the word "kerfluffle".

I always make jokes like that!
Apparently I should assume that Hobie's the only one that will get them...

Most people don't. Faxanadu is a spin-off of Dragon Slayer II: Xanadu. Legacy of the Wizard is Dragon Slayer IV.J T wrote:I never knew that. I like Faxanadu too.BoneSnapDeez wrote: And it's technically part of the Dragon Slayer series, which also contains Faxanadu (another great NES game).

1. Legacy of the Wizard for the NES is great and by opinion is considered better than Wizards and Warriors which is also a good game
2. Hobie-wan needs to put his jokes in a certain color

It might have caused a, uhm, kerfuffle, but I don't like jokes in blue. They're so boring. You guys should train those tin ears of yours.

Man, it's too bad your feedback post caused so much of a hullabaloo, Hobie. I thought it was one of the funnier posts I've seen in a while.
I'll admit it probably required context to realize it was a joke, though.

I knew this factoid, but wasn't aware of the ordering of the series. Strange aint it? How a game series took such a drastic change within two iterations on the same system? I mean, Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior remained relatively unchanged until their subsequent releases on consoles two generations later.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Most people don't. If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?
