What do you want out of the next Batman series?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I pretty much agree with you here (though I actually liked Bane's voice a lot), but I want to point out... the first 1/2 or so of Superman II revolved around Louis pretty damn quickly and easily figuring out that Clark Kent was Superman and her trying to get him to reveal himself.

One of my favorite scenes in BATMAN (1989) was when Vale and Batman are in the batmobile together and Vale gives him the "don't I know you?" look and Batman very nonchalantly tries to look the other way. Classic scene.
That was such a great movie. Burton's version of the Batman character is still my favorite, but Nolan and Bale have done great things with the character, and what else needs to be said about Heath Ledger's Joker performance? Definitive.
Yep, the original is a classic. One of my all-time favorites. Jack Nicholson stole the movie, though. And it showed that when done right, comic book characters can be cool on the big-screen.

I think that movie really left its mark too. You can see elements of it in Batman: The Animated Series. Even when I play video games like Batman Arkham Asylum or Batman Arkham City, I see a lot more Burton influence than I do Nolan.

They need to return to Batman Returns/Batman TAS style stuff. Or even something more Arkham Asylum.
Everything that has revolved around those has been amazing.

Batman Forever and Batman & Robin was awful.
Nolan's Batman were good movies but IMO they are not Batman.

Not a huge fan of the movie itself, but the production design and atmosphere of Burton's movies is superb.

Plus they're the sole reason that Batman TAS even exists. TAS was the Batman I grew up with, so it's the definitive Batman to me.

These guys are great.

They have a great review of Marvel's The Avengers (which I love) and a slew of others.

The RedLetterMedia guys cameoing in there actually gave the movie a pretty positive review, too.
