Battles get you coins which you use to buy more stickers to use in battles. Only, without any other benefit from battles, what exactly is the point? You can just ignore most battles entirely and there will be no downside to that at all.
What RPG are you playing right now?

Nope. Your HP is increased by finding HP + 5 items, mostly through little sidequests or hidden around the stages. There are no other stats as attack is determined by the sticker being used, and stickers are single use only so there's not much point to a magic system. Its a little odd.Opa Opa wrote:No experience points?alienjesus wrote:Playing through Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It's alright. The sticker system itself is fairly fun, but I feel it could've used some more motivation to battle, if only to increase HP.

The best spot to level the girl's magic is outside the wind temple, as your weapons are drawn but you have a heal point right there. You level up at twice the rate if your weapons are drawn.Zing wrote:The instruction manual itself suggests standing outside an inn and spamming magic to level it up. Doesn't sound like fun to me.dunpeal2064 wrote:I'm trying to use buffs, but I guess I need to go grind out levels for each style of magic, because the buffs are too weak.

Wow I did not know that, thanks Popo. I may actually make it through this game now. At least the story is straight forward enough that I don't forget what is going on, so coming back to it now shouldn't be a problem.

Just picked up Dark Souls the other day.
I'm a bit miffed as to where I am supposed to go at times, and parrying is a bit of bitch, and death is common, but its very fun.
Prepare to die... yeppers.
