How do you display your controllers and accesories>>?
A few months back I was thinking of how I could store all of my controllers/hookups in the open so I could display them in all of there glory. So I simple shoe rack that you typically see in your grandma's closet was the most appealing setup I could think of to display my controllers/hookups in all of there glory.
How do you display your collection? Do you have any tips for fellow collectors? Do you have a unique way of going about displaying your collection? Is there anything that you do that you havent seen others do?
This is where you share the joy of video game collecting and pass on the knowledge of how you set up your room on doom..!

Here's how I have my more interesting controllers set up, using 3M hooks:

(that empty space is reserved for the Atari 7800 gamepads. The other side of the wall has a similar setup.)

I keep mine in a box like this. It doesn't look that big but I've got 20 controllers and 1 joystick stored in that thing. I have some controllers and all the extra AV cables in that white cupboard.

Not the most optimal way because I have to untangle and remove all the controllers from the top if I want one from the bottom. I'd like to have same kind of display as you have if I had enough room.

I keep mine in a storage tub, except for whatever I'm using plus the wireless stuff, since they take up hardly any room.

Unfortunately other than the few that live in the cabinet with the consoles that are hooked up, most of mine live in boxes like most of my gaming things. If/when I have more space at some point I'd probably have controllers put in some drawers in the gaming area. I have seen some very nice setups with controllers neatly on the walls, but I'd hate to have to dust them like that.
Some unfortunate someone's pleas cannot be heard because all of their country's exclamation points have been shipped off to be used by foreigners.Kahokian wrote:monster picture man lol Thats how mine was so I just said screw it an posted my link. I'd be concerned that the cords could be damaged by holding up the weight of the controllers, but who knows.driph wrote:Here's how I have my more interesting controllers set up, using 3M hooks
My controllers hang out in inconspicuous boxes on top of the bookshelves, or next to their respective console on the shelf, if they fit. The boxes also hold my portable systems. If I ever finish the basement and turn it into the man cave, I will consider something more elaborate, such as wall shelves.
