Sega nomad screen issue

I did the nomad screen mod and it works but there is just one problem. there is a weird kind of distorted line about 1/4 in from the bottom.

I double checked all of my points and they're solid and none of the wires are crimped.

The only thing I can think of is my driver board had a quick disconnect cable for the AV/power cable and i just snipped off the RCA cables and spliced the wire, so maybe I'm not getting a solid feed.

Hmm I didnt get this issue. It seems like the cable on the right in the top pic isnt soldered in a great spot, but tough to tell from the picture.
